Do the research and you will find that consolidation is not good for the students, schools, or communities. Also the statement about not having a library in the school was not even said. The lady that made that statement said "renovate the space under the auditorium and place the library in that space, and take the library out of the current space." Just another example of how a reporter changes the words around.
So if they move the library under the stage, wouldn't you still not have access to the library by the disabled?
And hate to tell you, research has been done and the research says that the optimum size is between 500-900 students. If more than that, there is a dropoff. Less than that, basic criteria is sacrificed.
Links can be provided that show this to be true, have you got the research to back yours?

You may not have a student or faculty member that needs accessibility now, but that can change tomorrow. Any school could get a transfer that needs accessibility at any moment in time. Any school could have even a visitor that needs accessibility. Society isn't hiding away their "disabled" anymore. Being in a wheelchair doesnt mean you're less of a citizen and can't have access to the same things others have.
